Is anyone here a “super couponer” at CVS? I saw on their sub that they are saying people will come in and be professional couponers. Is there a lot to save here

Top Comment: I'm not a pro but there have been times I got a $20 bill at CVS down to less than $1 and then got a $2 reward on Ibotta for buying the name brand item. So, I made money on the deal. It can be done!
Did you know CVS is 250% more expensive than Amazon
Main Post:
I always wondered why CVS could offer such great coupons and figured it probably was because their prices were really high. I was bored today and decided to check. One $10 item on Amazon was $25.99 on CVS website. The second item I searched was $13.99 on Amazon and $30.99 at CVS. Finally, checked a third item and it was $7 at Costco and $11 CVS, so smaller, but the delta is still around 50%.. moral of the story is do your research! I basically have decided I will do no more shopping at CVS unless it’s a quick necessity.
Top Comment: CVS is great for extreme couponing. I can get a lot of items for really, really cheap or free there. But it takes a lot of effort. Otherwise I'd never shop there unless I was desperate, like needing OTC medication at 4am and everything else is closed. Then I pay the convenience tax lol
Couponing
Main Post:
Hello, I get these coupons quite often- the “$$ of your purchase. The problem is, I can never use them- they will not attach to any item or purchase when I scan my card. I’ve researched CVS’s site to learn about this particular coupon’s restrictions- but I haven’t found any information. Can someone let me know what this coupon is good for or how I can use it? Thanks in advance. I’m not sure what I am doing wrong, I have been couponing there for a long time.
Top Comment: Now I gotta check to see if I have that one too.... Nope. Just a stupid $4 off $60... like I'm going to spend that much at one time in there.
Any tips for new CVS couponer?
Main Post:
Never couponed ever in my life, just hoping to get some tips on what to look out for and such? Idk anything helps! It’ll make money a lot easier 🫠.
Top Comment: Make sure you follow all the CVS Instagram/youtube accounts, so you don’t have to come up with your own scenarios, leave it to the professionals to keep it simple.
Did CVS reduce the value of their coupons dramatically in the past few months?

Top Comment: Generally speaking it seems like the more money you spend the better coupons you get. So if you went from spending all the money on one card to now split that might be a reason why.
FREEBIES/NEAR FREEBIES at CVS this week
Main Post:
Hello, I will be posting CVS deals I find every week here, just to help some of you guys out. Here are a few deals that are all free (besides the dove), but should be understandable for everyone to understand! Please provide feedback, whether you like these or not.
Top Comment: Personally never liked how ppl use extra care bucks to count products as "free" since it doesnt roll into that product but instead into the next one
Best Single Item to Use my 40% Coupon On?
Main Post:
Trying to maximize the value of my 40% off coupon, what’s something that’s fairly priced to begin with that would maximize my 40% off coupon? Does it apply to pharmacy?
Top Comment: No it doesn’t apply to RX. If you want to maximize the coupon toss it in the trash and go buy the item at Walmart a lot cheaper than the 40% off at CVS.
Coupons got bad over time
Main Post:
Do the coupons on the app get worse over time when you buy more? I used to get 40% off one full priced item. Now I just get 10% off one full priced item. Also, before I get $4 off revlon but now it’s $4 off $25 revlon makeup. Those were some of the examples.

CVS coupons
Main Post:
Hey I just went to CVS to get some stuff and used some deals. The price at checkout waw differnt than the price on the display/online. Example I bought some razors that the price was $6.99 (sale) original ($8.79) and I had some deals to use. At checkout I was charged $9.49 and the only deals that went through gave me $2.50 off for a total of $6.99. Why was I charged a different amount at checkout should I call someone or leave it be?
Top Comment: First off you are talking about 2 different things. Online prices vary from in store prices and have nothing to do with in store prices. I don’t get why people don’t bring this up before they pay. Are you sure you had the right product (wasn’t just shoved in the wrong spot) and it was a current sale? Either way you can just take it back for a refund if you want. Then try and figure out the correct product/sale/issue if you’re still interested in that. Could potentially be wrong price or sale sign up but again that is something you have to address at the time ringing it out so they can correct the issue.
